My car is made of wood and metal nails. The first Newton Law is: An object at rest will remain at rest, and an object in motion will continue moving in a straight line at a constant speed until an outside force acts on it (inertia). My car is an example of Newton’s first law because if it’s at rest, it will remain at rest. If it’s in motion, it’ll keep going until an outside force or friction stops it. Though over time, friction between the wheels and the floor will make it stop. The smoother the wheels, the longer it will travel. Newton’s second law is: (An object’s acceleration depends on the size and direction of the force acting on it and on the mass of the object (Force = Mass x Acceleration). My car is an example of Newton’s second law because the heavier the car, the more force it will take to move the car. Newton’s third law is: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction (Action, Reaction). My car is an example of Newton’s third law because the weight of the car pushes down against the floor due to gravity, and the floor pushes up against the car with an equal amount of force. This is how my car is an example of Newton’s first, second, and third law.
